Malaysian Government Scholarship

The Malaysian Government Scholarships (MIS & MTCP) are prestigious, fully funded awards for outstanding international students, covering tuition fees, monthly stipends (RM 1,500–3,500), medical insurance, and research grants. Applicants must meet a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0, demonstrate English proficiency (IELTS 6.0+/TOEFL 550+), and be under 40–45 years of age, depending on the program. While MIS supports both Master’s and PhD studies, MTCP is exclusively for Master’s degrees. Recipients cannot hold other scholarships concurrently. The annual application deadlines typically fall between March–April for MTCP and June–July for MIS, making these scholarships a competitive opportunity for high-achieving students seeking advanced education in Malaysia.
